Sensing Workflow
The Drone Sensing system combines RF Spectrum Sensing, AI-powered Video Analytics, and Acoustic Detection to identify and classify aerial objects in real time. By correlating data from multiple sensing technologies, the system improves detection accuracy and reduces false alarms.

š 1st Place at AIRHACK IaČi
The SpectrumHive team coordinated by Associate Professor Alexandru Lavric, achieved 1st Place at the AIRHACK IaČi competition, organized by Fab Lab IaČi, Orange Romania, and IaČi International Airport.
The project was also awarded the Orange Romania Special Award, recognizing the value and potential of the Drone Sensing solution developed during the competition.
This achievement was made possible through the collaboration between Orange Romania, SpectrumHive, WirelessLab, and Čtefan cel Mare University of Suceava.
AIRHACK IaČi provided an excellent opportunity to bring together students, researchers, and industry professionals while validating innovative drone detection technologies in a real-world airport environment.
